Lollo explained that the tube would be used to give me anaesthetic to help me sleep and painkillers during my operation. I remember thinking, that’s just brilliant. That’s pretty weird, isn’t it? All of a sudden I was pleased to have something that I’d always been absolutely terrified of. 😮
